This policy explains how LeadZen ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you use our website, book a call with us or contact us.
Who we are
LeadZen is a marketing agency for garage door companies, operated by LeadZen (company number 406566014). We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us at Tom@leadzen.uk, on 07809 374394 or 07466 653031.
What we collect
- Information you give us: when you complete our booking form, call us, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we collect your name, email address, phone number, your business name and any details you share about your business.
- Information from your use of our site: basic technical data such as your device, browser and the pages you view, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our cookie policy).
Top ads sign-up: if you unlock the full top garage door ads page, we collect your first and last name, your email address, and optionally your phone number and business name. We use your email to send you a one-time code, and we add you to our customer records so we can follow up about your advertising. If you tick the box, we will also email you the best-performing ads each month; you can unsubscribe at any time. We also use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure and improve our adverts, and we may use your email address (in a secured form) to show you our adverts on Facebook and Instagram.
How and why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and book and hold a call with you (to take steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business).
- To provide our services if you become a client, and to manage our relationship with you (performance of a contract).
- To contact you about our services where the law allows, including business-to-business marketing. You can ask us to stop at any time (legitimate interests, or your consent where required).
- To keep our website secure and improve it (legitimate interests).
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our customer-relationship, booking and messaging tools, website hosting and email providers, and our advertising and analytics platforms. They act on our instructions. We may also share information where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where that happens we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship are normally deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for the length of our agreement and for the period needed to meet legal and accounting requirements.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask for it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email Tom@leadzen.uk.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
